There are good reasons to look past any one tool: a price that stopped fitting, a feature you now need, a team that outgrew it. This page lists eight hosted changelog tools to consider instead of Beamer.

The tools
Relnotely
We wrote this page, so weigh this entry accordingly. Relnotely is a changelog and nothing else: a public page on your own domain, an in-app widget, and email to subscribers who confirm their address, with a page of its own for every entry, an Atom feed, and import from a feed, a CSV or a CHANGELOG.md. There is no Relnotely badge, watermark or "powered by" link on your changelog — our name appears only in the small print under the subscribe form, which says who stores an address entered there — and the page loads nothing from any third party.
Relnotely's price: $19 a month, one plan, custom domain included. Writing is free with no card; publishing starts a 7-day trial. Our pricing.
It may not suit you if: you need more than one login, scheduled publishing, reader analytics, segmentation, a roadmap or feedback boards. It has none of those.
AnnounceKit
AnnounceKit's pricing page lists a changelog alongside a product roadmap, feature requests, analytics and multi-language posts.

May suit you if: you want a roadmap and feature requests in the same tool, several languages, or unlimited team members.

May suit you if: collecting and prioritising customer feedback is the main job, and the changelog should be tied to it.
Featurebase
Featurebase's pricing page describes a helpdesk and feedback suite in one subscription, priced per seat.

Headway's site describes a public changelog page and an in-product widget.

May suit you if: you want a free plan to start on, or scheduled publishing, several authors or a private changelog.

LaunchNotes' pricing page describes plans for teams shipping across multiple products, with roadmap and feedback modules, and calls to action to book a demo.

Our view
This part is opinion, not a claim about Beamer or anyone else on the list. The tools here fall into three shapes: suites where the changelog is one module among feedback, roadmap or support (AnnounceKit, Canny, Featurebase, Frill, LaunchNotes); announcement products priced by audience (Beamer itself); and tools that do the changelog alone at a flat price (ReleasePad and Relnotely, and Headway with its free plan). Decide which shape you need before comparing prices, because a suite's entry tier and a single-purpose tool's only tier are not the same purchase.
If the changelog is the whole requirement, we think the questions that matter are: is your own domain included, is there another company's badge on your page, what loads in front of your readers, and can you bring your history with you.
Before you switch
Whichever tool you choose, moving a changelog without losing its history covers the order to do it in: export, keep the dates, make sure nobody is emailed about old entries, and keep your addresses working. You can also grade your current changelog first, to see what a new tool would need to do better.
