Released's pricing page describes Released Hub, an app inside Jira that drafts release notes from issues with AI and publishes them, priced per Jira user. Relnotely is a hosted changelog for any team, priced flat.

- Free: $0 a month, for up to 10 users with 2,000 AI tokens per user: unlimited idea portals, a feedback inbox, public roadmaps, AI-generated release notes, release note templates, automatic Jira issue linking, and publishing to Confluence and Slack.
- Standard: $1.10 per user a month, unlimited users, 10,000 AI tokens per user, and the "option to remove the Released Hub watermark".
- Advanced: $1.70 per user a month, unlimited users, 20,000 AI tokens per user, embeddable feedback forms, feedback via Slack, and premium support and onboarding.
- The page says a user is "someone with an active, licensed account on your Jira site", that the price falls with volume "to as little as $0.01 per user", and that the 30-day free trial starts from Jira.
A worked example, our arithmetic from their listed rate: a Jira site with 50 licensed users on Standard would be $55 a month before any volume discount.

Writing is free and needs no card; publishing starts a 7-day trial. One login per account, and one changelog.

Where Released may suit you better
- Your work is in Jira and you want release notes drafted from the issues that shipped.
- You want a roadmap and an idea portal with the release notes, listed on every plan.
- You publish to Confluence or Slack as well as to a page.
- Your Jira site is small. Up to 10 users is listed at $0.
Our view
Opinion, not a claim about Released: for a team already living in Jira, drafting from issues is a real saving of effort, and per-user pricing that falls with volume is a fair way to sell an app inside a suite. If your changelog is written for customers rather than assembled from tickets, and the people reading it will never see Jira, a flat $19 for a page on your own domain is the simpler thing to own.
Moving from Released
Relnotely imports from an RSS or Atom feed, a CSV export or a CHANGELOG.md, keeping original dates and skipping duplicates. Nobody is emailed about imported entries, and previewing the import is free.
