What Relnotely includes
One plan, $19 a month, whatever your traffic:

CHANGELOG.md. - No Relnotely badge, watermark or "powered by" link on your changelog, on any plan. Our name appears in one place: the small print under the subscribe form, which says who stores an address entered there, and the footer's links to our privacy policy and terms for the same reason.

Where Beamer may suit you better
- You want more than announcements. Their pricing page lists feedback, NPS, comments and reactions; Relnotely has none of these.
- You want to target who sees what. Segmentation is listed on their plans and is not something Relnotely does.
- You want analytics on posts. Listed on their plans. Relnotely runs no tracking on readers, so it cannot report on them.
- You want scheduled publishing. Listed on their plans; not offered by Relnotely.
Our view
Opinion, not a claim about Beamer: a price that follows your monthly active users means a successful month costs more, which is a reasonable trade when the extra buys engagement tooling you use — and a poor one when what you actually do is publish a weekly post. We built the flat price for the second case, and we would rather ship no analytics at all than put a tracker in front of your readers.
Moving from Beamer
Point Relnotely's importer at your changelog's feed, or upload a CSV export, read the preview, then import. Original dates are kept, duplicates are skipped, and nobody on your list is emailed about entries they have already seen. Previewing is free and needs no card.
Questions
- How does Beamer's pricing work?
- By monthly active users. As of 20 September 2026 their pricing page listed a free plan for fewer than 1,000 monthly active users, Starter at $59 a month, Pro at $119 and Scale at $299, with lower figures shown for annual billing and the option to add more users. Check getbeamer.com for current prices.
- What does Relnotely cost as my audience grows?
- $19 a month. The price is per changelog rather than per reader or per seat, so more readers do not change the bill.
- Does Relnotely do feedback, NPS or segmentation?
- No. Relnotely publishes release notes to a page, an in-app widget and an email list, and does not offer feedback collection, NPS surveys or segmentation. Beamer's pricing page lists all three.
- Can I import my existing posts into Relnotely?
- Yes, from an RSS or Atom feed, a CSV export or a CHANGELOG.md file. Entries keep their original dates and your subscribers are not emailed about them.
