Until you start your trial or publish your first entry, your public page is a preview that only you can see, with the subscribe form switched off. It opens to readers the moment you do either.

Nothing changes for anyone on a trial or a paid plan, and a changelog that has published keeps its page, whatever happens to the subscription.
